The Brief
Phoenicia is one of the most recognizable hotel chains in Romania, but by 2019, their digital presence had fallen behind their physical one. The old site was failing to convert visitors into guests. The mission was clear: a complete visual and structural redesign to make the booking process feel as premium as the hotels themselves.
The Process
This was a classic high-stakes redesign where I focused entirely on the UI/UX. Working through a marketing intermediary, we kept the feedback loops tight and efficient. I designed the entire interface on a strict grid in Photoshop. Every pixel was placed to ensure that the complex information of multiple seaside and city properties remained easy to digest.
The Result
A modern, high-conversion interface that served the brand during a peak period. While the hospitality industry moves fast and designs change, this project remains a solid example of how to handle a large-scale architecture with multiple sub-brands and specific user flows.
