The Brief
As part of the core design team for Kubio Builder, I was tasked with creating a high-end “Starter Site” for the jewelry and luxury goods niche. The goal wasn’t just to make it look pretty, but to create a professional, ready-to-use foundation for business owners who want a luxury feel without building from scratch.
The Process
I handled everything from research to final execution. I spent hours analyzing what successful jewelry e-commerce sites have in common: the balance of whitespace, high-end typography, and focus on imagery. Using the Kubio builder, I pushed the tool to its limits to ensure the template was both sophisticated and “unbreakable”, meaning any user, regardless of their tech skills, could swap content without ruining the aesthetic.
The Result
A flagship starter site that contributed to Kubio’s 10,000+ active installations. It remains one of the most polished examples of what the builder can achieve, proving that template-based design doesn’t have to look “templated” if the UX foundation is solid.
